I haven't been able to bring myself to update this in quite a while.  
Things at home have ben busy.  I did some major work on my back yard 
this month, which isn't quite done in true Jeff fashion.  I removed some 
damn big landscaping timbers and leveled off a big portion of my 
backyard.  It'll be real nice when complete.  My parents came out to 
Ohio last week to hang out with me and my wife.  That was also fun.  

I saw a commercial for a movie that got me both excited and upset.  It 
was called "Just Like Heaven" (i just looked it up on imdb).  The plot 
summary says its about a lonely guy who falls in love with the ghost of 
the woman who once lived in his apartment.  It reminded me of Faye from 
"A Prince Among Men," only with a significant number of improvements.  
I've ranted about my problems with the "A Prince Among Men" trilogy in 
early glog entries, with my biggest beef being Faye's treatment.  I for 
one quite fancied the idea of having an invisible (but real, I'm not 
crazy) friend who only I could interact with.  I always thought the Faye 
character might have been more interesting if she could also be seen by 
the main character (she was invisible to him as well).  I figured a good 
story line might be having her trapped in the real world through a 
transfer from the magic wordl gone wrong.  

The movie I mentioned seems to take the love story that could develop 
from an invisible girl that only one man can see.  I really like the 
idea, but I'm upset i didn't write it down first.  Then again my version 
is merely the derivative of another book.  Maybe I'll write my version 
down.  The invisible girl and a lonely boy fall in love, but for a happy 
ending, they somehow become rejoined, perhaps through a transfer back to 
the magic world.  I think I'm on to something...
