Ask Candid Candice a question about Moo Canada:
When did the Internet start?
The ancestry of the Internet is rooted in the ARPANET, a US military network
started in 1969. They designed a new architecture and protocol suite called TCP/IP which is the basis for all Internet traffic today.
The size of this little network roughly doubled every two years, resulting in the
gigantic network we know today.
An excelent history of the Internet is
Hobbes'
Internet Timeline.
