Mercury Mail Transport System combines an SMTP, POP3, and PH Directory
Service server into one Windows 2000 program (a PH Directory Service is
similar to LDAP).  It is very stable and robust, and although it will 
work with any mail client, it is particularly suited to be used in 
conjunction with the Freeware Pegasus Mail for Windows client.

Althogh normally it is smart to run servers that only perform one 
function; SMTP, POP3, and the PH Directory Service are so closely bound 
that it is sensable to offer them together into one server package 
(especially since Mercury lets you "turn off" services you don't use). 


NOTE: Only the software is Freeware.  The optional Manual is licensed 
(however, there is an extensive help file included in the program).
