PC Gopher III is a standard Gopher (not Gopher+) Client for DOS.  
It uses a TUI (Textual User Interface) to display Gopher information.  
This software requires a NIC using a WATTCP packet driver.  You must 
configure the GOPHER.INI file with your Path and IP Address information.

This software works OK, but because of its age, it does not recognize 
the more modern file formats.  Although PC Gopher III will allow you to 
download binary files, you can only download Text files after first 
loading them into the built-in viewer.  Normally this would not be a 
problem, except that it sometimes mis-identifies modern binary files 
(such as *.WAV files) as text files, making it impossible to download 
them (if you try to open a binary file with the built-in text file 
viewer first in order to save it, you will produce an empty or 
scrambled save files).

I would suggest you use this software only as an interrum until you are 
able to locate/develop a superior DOS Gopher Client to replace it.
