Well hunting was pretty dismal as far as seeing deer, however it was still a great time! I am skipping the last weekend but will go back out durring the muzzleloader season with all tags available, so therefore I can shoot a buck or doe. Changes in sapling density in some older clearcuts and a new cottage that ended up on a deer trail a half mile from me as well as increased black bear activity where I hunt and also the warm weather and rain which made the surrounding swamp like quick sand are all factors which I think affected my hunt. Not to mention low hunting pressure in my imediate area. So I will go out next week with some new strategies, and fingers crossed ;). Jughead! oh the little *%&$! I have rebuilt it a dozen different ways and am feeling I am gaining on it but only ever so slowly. I finally did omit quux /dict.pyg/* from the jughead data retrieval , that database was just so large and slow to retrieve and well it was redundant as I have the dictionary search linked below the jughead anyhow..I did like having jughead contain those results though and possibly I will try and cat that list from the tarball in pygfarm into a static database file which I can cat data1 datadict.pyg > data and then not have to have jughead re-retrieve it each week. For some odd reason durring the last retrieval I missed sdf ugh!. I am too lame ;) I will keep working at it and eventually settle upon a usefull repeatable database. In the mean time it works but the data isnt the same each week as I fiddle with it. anyhow later and happy gophering! O
