  I had gotten a good deal on Windows 7 32-bit on Amazon a few months
ago, and that's what I have on the BBS now. It likely was significantly
cheaper than what Microsoft charged for it originally.

  I think I did get one thing off of eBay...a serial to USB cable for my
US Robotics 56K External Fax Modem that I have on the MagicJack Plus
line. That way, no wasted paper from junk faxes. The voice mail is on a
regular MagicJack line, and I have another VoIP line from Comcast.

  However, I had to shut the ringers off on ALL of them, as I was
getting calls from telemarketers and everyone else in the dead of night,
and I have a hard time sleeping as it is. Now, if it's a wake up for the
call of nature (which you can't leave to the answering machine), a call
from my elderly Mom, or crashes from nearby lightning strikes, that's
understandable.
