Thinking in the case of Mystic that without the (out of date) videos Avon put up, and some help from those who had done a Mystic board already, that I would have found the time commitment too extensive to put up by BBS. It seemed that first time around (with Fido and then Opus) the documentation presumed the prospective Sysop had little experience and might be pioneering by working largely alone. Thinking the current situation presumes a new Mystic Sysop is either very well versed in how things work or has access to help who does know their way around BBSes.
