GIANT BUTTERFLY-SHAPED HOLE IN THE SUN'S ATMOSPHERE:  A 500,000-km wide coronal
hole has opened in the sun's atmosphere, sending a stream of solar wind toward
Earth. It could spark G1-G2 geomagnetic storms and auroras around Sept. 14th,
enhanced by the Russell-McPherron effect.
