MOTHS NAVIGATE USING THE MILKY WAY: Researchers have discovered that moths in
Australia can navigate by the stars, using the Milky Way (especially the
Carina nebula) as a visual compass. On cloudy nights, they use Earth's
magnetic field instead. This adds to a growing list of diverse lifeforms tuned
in to the night sky.
