Very eventful end-of-year here. My wife had to have surgery on the 27th to have a portion of her liver removed laparoscopically. She had a large (8cm) hemangioma causing a lot of pain that had to be removed. She did great. 7 incisions. Got to bring her home on the 30th and we were able to celebrate the New Year from our own living room.

It's going to be a big year for our house. My oldest graduates high school and starts college, my youngest turns 16 and will start driving, and it's our 20th anniversary.

That's cool. What language are you thinking? I took four years of Spanish in high school, and it helped us get around while we were honeymooning in Costa Rica 20 years ago. Learning another language is certainly a useful skill.
