If you have a working Docker solution then Proxmox is not even an alternative, because Proxmox is not a Docker platform. Proxmox Virtual Environment is just a pre-packaged virtualization solution with solid provisions for scheduled backups, which can be managed via orchestators (such as Terraform anf OpenTofu). It has provisions for High Availability and can be deployed in clusters. The whole point of it is that it comes in a docummented easy to deploy package so you can get started with minimal effort and have lots of features ready to use from minute 1. That is pretty much it. For most home deployments I am sure you can setup KVM/Qemu and do pretty much the same thing much of the time. -- gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken --- SBBSecho 3.29-Linux * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (1337:3/191) .
