   High pressure over the continent maintains fairly settled weather with
   a mix of cloud and sun. Strong winds in the north. A burst of unsettled
   weather in Iberia.

   Thursday
   The day starts fine in Iberia with sunny spells, rain arrives into the
   northwest later. Fine weather across the Mediterranean with a mix of
   cloud and sun from Iberia eastward into Italy. The Balkan States will
   be sunny, as well as Greece and west Türkiye. Heavy showers will affect
   Cyprus.
   Patchy rain in northwest France, drier with sun spells to the south.
   Some isolated patches of light rain in southern Germany early, a few
   patches further east in Slovakia, Poland, and Ukraine, more rain in
   Belarus. Elsewhere, a dry day, starting cloudy for many, but
   increasingly bright, often sunny in Romania and Bulgaria. Blustery in
   northern Germany and Poland.
   Strong winds blow across Denmark and southern Sweden, across the Baltic
   Sea into the Baltic States. Patchy rain for southern Norway, Sweden,
   and Denmark. Patchy rain increasingly affects the Baltic States and
   merges into a broader area of rain later in the day. Some snow in
   central Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

   Friday
   Widespread heavy rain in Portugal east into central Spain, drier east
   but patchy rain near coasts. The Mediterranean islands remain dry but
   with some patchy cloud around, these conditions extending east across
   Italy and into the northern Balkan States. The southern Balkans,
   Greece, and west Türkiye remain mostly sunny, some rain in north
   Türkiye.
   Brighter in France with local patchy rain in the west. A few odd
   patches of morning rain in the Low Countries and west Germany, but
   otherwise dry and increasingly bright here. The rest of the continent
   will be dry as well with increasing bright spells in central and
   western areas. Poland and Hungary stay cloudier. Some rain remains in
   Ukraine with strong winds.
   A dry but cloudy day in Denmark and southern parts of Sweden and
   Norway; snow in central areas. Morning patchy rain in the Baltic States
   will clear for bright spells, though Lithuania may remain cloudy. A
   bright and often sunny day in Finland with little or no precipitation.
