ANOTHER POWERFUL X-FLARE: Active sunspot 4274 erupted again today, producing a
powerful X4-class solar flare. Unlike earlier explosions this week, this one
was not squarely aimed at Earth. Even so, a CME is expected to deliver a
glancing blow to our planet's magnetic field, and a geomagnetic storm watch is
in effect for Nov. 16-17.
