I see the reasoning for ECC RAM, but for home use it was a pain. I
waited too long to upgrade my Dell T3400 workstation (wanted to go from
8 to 16GB of RAM) and by the time I shopped for RAM, I could buy an
off-lease Dell Optiplex for the same price as the RAM!
