I was using a non-standard port and their automated software caught that, blocked the port, then kicked me off of their network.  Several hours later, I'm back on the WiFi but connected to my BBS via my website which uses HTTPS and a proxy server to connect so to their system, I am visiting just another website.

A federal installation's WiFi tends to be more restrictive than others.

If I decide to get my foot reconstruction surgery, I'll probably pick up a 5G hotspot and not worry about it anymore.
