I think it depends a little on the size and 'wealth' of the dealership too though. As I mentioned earlier, I traded in a good condition, low mileage car that was 16 years old, and the dealership decided to keep it to use for running around and occasionally as a loaner car.. They'd have to drop the price on a new car with a fair number of miles on it quite a bit I'd imagine.
