We did a one-week cruise last week and discovered how they do it in a cruise ship.  They 
located the court between 2 large structures on the upper deck, probably to deflect the 
wind.

The court was smaller than regular size.  The game was singles only and they play to 7 to 
try and get more people to play.

If you are unlucky, your shot might travel fast and far enough so it goes over the side of 
the deck.

Pickleball is so popular, that players need their fix even when on a ship.
