Welcome to HobbyNet!  I see that you have an interest in genealogy.  I'm not active like 
I used to be so I spend more time indoors now.  I love to play the organ, I love 
computers and I love tracing my roots.

Have you tried out https://www.wikitree.com yet?  It's totally free and you get the 
benefit of having others trace your history for you.  All you have to do after you create 
your free account there is to input your basic information to include your parents 
information as well, and then the magic happens.

I now receive weekly notices from them that mention my relationship to famous people.  
If you already have a gedcom, you can upload it.  I believe that you will have to take 
some time afterwards to verify whether you are related to already existing members, 
but that is a plus.  It means that you are connecting to the tree that they are a part of.

I allow some people to upload their gedcoms there once I give them access.  It's all free 
for them to use.  I also could develop a website for an individual that wants to host 
there own genealogy site.

Anyway, welcome to HobbyNet.  Feel free to post to your hearts content about anything 
hobby-related.
