Some people like Brave, others hate it. I don't really understand the 
two sided thing. Use what you like.

I know that Chrome is going to be making changes to the addon API system 
at some point. I don't know how this will eventually affect Chromium and 
other projects that use the source code like Edge and Brave.

I've not used YouTube in a browser in a long while, I really enjoy 
FreeTube too much. Can "subscribe" to channels without an account no 
data leakage, etc.

If your on a browser you could always load uBlock Origin and 
SponsorBlock for YouTube, this should also block normal ads and ads in 
your videos as well.
