Good job! > > Feel free to post to your hearts content. I enjoy learning about someone by > the posts > that they make. > Mike, It was a long lesson in humility!!! FidoNet was kind of automated but others had to be setup manually. I had a lot of help in the beginning and a ton of failure!!! FSXNet took about 2 weeks of trial and error. The good thing is that I tend to forget how to do things over time so I documented all the steps when I went through the TQWNet setup. There is a word document on my website for setting up TQWNet on Synchronet BBS's but the document works with every other network that I setup since. That way, if there is a person going crazy in the future setting up an FTN on SynchroNet, they can download that document that has nice pretty pictures and step by step direction. By the time I setup HobbyNet though, I finally memorized the steps!!!! :) Feel free to use the document if you know of anyone having issues. SynchroNet has config items all over the place. It is in many different areas. I hear Mystic is much easier (I never used Mystic as a sysop)..
