The stations near me that broadcast in ATSC 3.0 don't broadcast in 4K (at least, not yet).  The video & audio is basically the same, so in that regard, I don't raelly notice a difference.  But there is another advantage to ATSC 3.0, which is that it gets better reception, as ATSC 3.0 is designed to be more resilient to things like buildings & trees blocking the signal, etc..  And that seems to be true, as the ATSC 3.0 signals where I am do seem to come in better, whereas one of the same channels on ATSC 1.0 sometimes have reception issues where I am.  One show we like to watch is Jeopardy, which is broadcast by ABC; they're one of the stations that broadcast in both ATSC 1.0 and 3.0 here, and their ATSC 1.0 signal often has reception problems for me, so I tend to record
it from the ATSC 3.0 broadcast with the HDHomerun, as it often comes in better.
