This lets me run it on non-premium Are you sure about the transcoding? I found that sometimes it might transcode when you don't expect it to. For instance, if your player device doesn't have a good connection for some reason, it might decide to transcode to a lower bitrate to conserve bandwidth (even if you're on your local network, if your player is connected via wifi, it may randomly have connection issues due to wifi). Or if you sometimes like subtitles and the subtitles are in a graphic format (such as PGS/SUP), then Plex will need to transcode the video to put the subtitles in. I usually convert the subtitles in my videos to SRT, which is a text-based format, and that avoids transcoding when using subtitles.
