I know I'm not the one you were writing to, but I also use Plex.  I know Plex has been making some changes that some people don't like, but Plex still does everything I want it to do and it still works well for me.  I also have a Plex lifetime pass (which I bought about 5 years ago), so to be fair, some of the changes they've made don't affect me (such as removing remote streaming for the free version).  But I plan to keep using Plex unless they eventually make a change I don't like.
