Car streos with USB drives have been available for at least the past 20+ years, before cars started coming with touch screens.  I had some in a few of my past cars.  And my current car is a 2023 and doesn't have a touch screen or any touch panels (which is one reason I chose it out of all the cars available today. It's a Mazda).
