I was pleasantly surprised by The Orville. I thought it would be all
slapstick comedy (A Million ways to die in Subspace?) but they've
tackled some intruiging topics while keeping the humor.

Do they have a holodeck on The Orville? It would be interesting to see
one of the crew running a TV show simulation (a la Paris in "Star Trek:
Voyager") that was a cliche Sci-fi TV show version of The Orville. How
delightfully Meta that would be.
