Yes, it is set in the outback, near Broken Hill specifically.  A couple
of the regular characters are of aboriginal descent, as are several of
the one-off characters and extras.

Understood.  I just wondered why it was specific to this show and not the
others but, now that you mention it, I think it is the only one I have
watched that is set in the outback.  The others have been set in rural
areas (but not the outback) or in urban/semi-urban areas, so your
explanation makes sense.
