STRONG GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A close encounter with a CME on Aug. 4th sparked a 
strong G3-class geomagnetic storm. So far, auroras have been sighted as far 
south as latitude +39N in Colorado. If the storm persists (it might not), 
mid-latitude auroras may be visible in the USA and Europe during the night of
