In this case, I think it's a different concern. When it's about having backup copies, using different services for backups, especially with cloud computing such as Amazon Web Services S3 Glacier (in case you're a company) might be a good option to consider. When it's about music, I used to buy lots of CDs back in the day, however now I'm thinking about it a lot in terms of physical storage (considering that now I'm tending to have things tidied up as much as possible, and too much CDs can be a problem in keeping them in order), and tendencially today I buy a digital copy of the album over a physical one, albeit sometimes when I find occasions to buy CDs (for like a buck) why not getting a CD and ripping it into my cloud collection? Another thing I have to say regarding Bandcamp: when you buy music there and create an account, you can re-download your purchases for free (and in any format: MP3, FLAC, OGG etc...) as they get added to your Bandcamp library. This, however, doesn't work for free downloads (or when you offer 0 when it's allowed), in that case, I just store my free downloads using another cloudlocker service called iBroadcast. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 2023/04/30 (Linux/64) * Origin: thE qUAntUm wOrmhOlE, rAmsgAtE, Uk. bbs.erb.pw (21:1/158) .
