It's "commonly overmissed" (?) by *who*?  Certainly not me.

Well..... yeah...  putting it on the same drive doesn't even qualify as 
a backup.  It MUST be on another drive, preferably in a different 
computer, and then again as another copy in a different 
building/location.  You didn't know this?
