I've even seen some 3rd-party USB game controllers that are modeled after NES, SNES, and Playstation controllers, with varying quality. A couple years ago, I bought an 8BitDo SN30 Pro game controller, primarily to use for emulated games on my Nvidia Shield Pro. Their controllers cost a bit more than the cheaper no-name ones, but I'm pretty impressed with it. It feels good and high-quality, and the buttons respond well. In addition to being bluetooth, I think it can also be used as a wired controller via USB. 8BitDo has a lot of other options too.
