I think your best bet is to pick some game which is turn based and board-game like, but less face it, it is not like your requisites are easy to meet. See, good games that don't require much thinking (ie. puzzles) are reflex and dexterity games, and since you don't want any reflex/dexterity game those are ruled out. On the other hand, games that don't require fine hand-eye coordination skills usually pose an intellectual challenge because what else could they offer? But you have ruled those out too. At this point I think the only games left are visual novels and other story-driven games in which the appeal of the game is the plot and everything else is just decoration. IMO if I were you I would give Battle for Wesnoth a try - it is turn based, so no reflexes, and it is very easy to learn, so not much thinking (at the begining). It is available for free (as it is FOSS software). If that does not work for you then I suggest you try with visual novels and if that does not work either then I suggest you find a non videogame related hobby. -- gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken --- SBBSecho 3.23-Linux * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (21:2/138) .
