Imagine that now-a-days you get the literal full experience. pa> WTF!?!?! MSFS 5.0 was a significant upgrade for graphics. It was 4.0 that had the more basic squares and triangles, but with 5.0, it started to use textures and shading to make things look a bit more realistic - still cartoony by today's standards, but things were at least solid objects with more detail and shading. pa> I wish I had the system to be able to play - can I come over??! That's an idea, if you actually want to come over and see it some time, as we're both in the Portland area. :) I was able to download MSFS 2024 last night (it sounds like a lot of people have had problems with that), and I was able to run it for a few minutes (I didn't have a whole lot of time). I think it looks great so far, and the video was very smooth - it seems to run better than MSFS 2020 (I may have to check the graphics settings though).
