I can't possibly think of any _recent_ distros are still deploying this kernel version, but the LTS aspect is definitely nice for people that don't care to upgrade from older stuff, I suppose.

I'd imagine this is part of the reason I'm still on kv 6.12.10. Quite possible the Arch devs are already doing that checking, and may just skip a couple versions in their rolling cycle if those aren't working with what they already have released to the masses.
