We went for nearly 200 years without an income tax or property taxes.  So it
can be done.

Let's take property taxes for a moment.  According to the Pols, that's really
for infrastructure, fire, police, etc.  But it's one lump sum and I don't get
to see where that money goes.  That's the main problem with those taxes.  Pols
can hide things they spend money on.

Now, if we abolish property taxes, but I get a bill for the same amount twice a
year, but it's itemized to police, fire, roads, etc.  I'd feel better about
paying that money.


.... We have no solution, but we sure admire the problem.
