 Oh, I just found this online about the 2024 question pool:

 The final statistics on the new Extra pool are:
 Questions eliminated:  101
 New questions:  82
 Questions modified:  357
 Question total 603 for the new pool vs. 622 for the previous pool (net decrease of 19 questions).
