Bpoth had the same results. However, reading through something, the author referred to NetSerial as "Playing with Ports" giving me the Layer 3 solution of just change the freaking ports! Becuase the primary BBS is in a firewalld dmz, I set the ITN back to the default, configured the port forwarding for external users (should there be any), and internally connect on port 23. While this doesnt resolve the question of FD + SIO 1.60d, it fixes my headache & a 30 year old problem! I will keep playing with it to see if there is a way to do it, but for now the packets are flowing! Thank you for the help. I saw you scratching your head but I commend you on an outstanding display of gentlemanly patince!
