Subj : Tabouli #5 To : All From : Ben Collver Date : Thu Dec 04 2025 08:22:45 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Tabouli 5 Categories: Grains Yield: 1 Batch 1 c Bulgur wheat 1 1/2 c Water; boiling 1 ts Salt 2 cl Garlic; peeled & smashed, - but still in one piece 1/4 c Lemon or lime juice 1/2 ts Dried peppermint -OR- 1 tb Fresh mint; chopped 1/4 c Olive oil 1 c Fresh parsley; chopped 1/2 c Scallions; chopped 2 md Tomatoes; chopped Black pepper; to taste 1 Cucumber; peeled & chopped Combine wheat, boiling water, and salt. Let stand for 20 minutes. Add garlic, lemon or lime juice, mint, and olive oil. Mix lightly with a fork. Refrigerate at least 3 hours, or overnight. Immediately before serving, remove the cloves of garlic and mix in parsley, scallions, tomatoes, cucumber, and black pepper.
