That said, I think they were being treated a lot more fairly in recent years than they used to be but all the complaining is coming out now.. MP>IMHO, one way the small groups do this is that they get enough people swayed >from the larger group, by playing on their feelings/emotions at the expense >of logic and facts. That is part of it, but if you can get the Gov't involved they can make laws and such that are totally unfair to most people to please smaller groups. Plus I think in a lot of cases ordinary people who want to be fair to everyone are often misled into agreeing with some things that are wildly unfair to the majority, which they are part of. A comment I made (in jest) a while back to illustrate the point was, I wonder what would happen if people also wanted to have a Straight Pride Parade every year too? No doubt that would be considered totally illegal, an attack on non-straight people.. The person I was talking to also pointed out that in a lot of the Pride Parades, there is a good amount of full frontal nudity going on, which you'd be arrested for if you were anyone else. --- * SLMR Rob * Ingenuity beats brute force * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
