EV>The Motorola phone I have used for 20 Months I charge every night. >Some days ( a few) I had it on and saw a Battery is getting low Alert. My phone is fairly basic and not too powerful, likely why they claim such long battery life for it. It is a Quad-Core 1.3 GHz so it's not horrible but there have been a lot of phones over the last few years so powerful that they will kill a battey in less than 8 hours even when not much in use. EV>I mostly use Data on it. But phone calls also since I dropped the L/L service >when I got this phone. Yes, I still have a L/L which I use for most regular phone calls. My cell is mostly for data or when I leave the house for a length of time to have available for emergencies.. And for the rare Long Distance call since I don't have a LD Plan on my L/L.. EV>When I need to get a Battery for it my thoughts are to see if a wholesale >Electronics store in my area would have a better price than the cellphone >company I have service with OR even Motorola Co. Yes, it's a bit of a crap shoot. Usually you are safer buying one from the original manufacturer, but they do usually cost more. I worry about it since I've seen a lot of 'reviews' on places like Amazon where people complained bitterly about how bad their new battery is compared to the original. --- * SLMR Rob * 99 percent of lawyers give the rest a bad name * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
