Well i'm not sure you even get all the newsgroups with eternal september.
but if you're expecting to see people having conversations you'd be disappointed.   it's mostly used for binaries and it's really really good for that.

When i tried eternal sept just for using it with my bbs i didn't like anything about it.  i'm not even sure the retention was good.

eternal sept is really just bait for people who don't know much about using newsgroups.

Maybe it's better than when i tried it out 15 years ago. i would hope so.
