I searched on DuckDuckGo for the capitalized word LID and the results were about Mason Jar lids Then i searched for Radio LID and read sone results about Telegraphers in the early days using the term for a novice telegrapher and also about a telegrapher that was difficult to read when he was sending code .. Whenreading about the term LID in ham radio publications I always have seen the three letters inUpper Case. I believe the results for my search for radio LID took mt to an article on StackExchange. (I think). Ed --- Synchronet CAPCITY2 * capcity2.synchro.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/Rlogin/HTTP .
