Yeah, but guess what, things that are purely subsidized my advertisements are turning into crap blazing fast because the audience is not the customers. TV is crap, radio is crap. Magazines are still ok for the most part precisely because the ones that pack advertisements still treat readers as paying customers.

TV reach in Spain is plummeting fast because quality is not there, and you end up watching less stuff in exchange for watching more ads. Again, I don't remember people complaining about advertisement overload when I was a kid, but people has been complaining about TV advertisement abuse for more than a decade already, which IMO signifies there used to be no problem, and now there is.

I cannot emphasize the fact enough. There is a qualitative difference. It didn't use to be a big deal, now it is.

The fact my shameless advertisement got a downvote proves unrequested advertisements suck. Thanks for endorsing my point.

Frankly, I don't get why people simps for entertainment corporations these days unless they are corporate slaves themselves. It is not like people owns them anything. Either they work for you (in which case they owe you good service) or they work for third parties (in which case you owe them zero).
