You didn't quote any of the rest of my message..  My point was that advertising is a common thing that has been used in media (such as TV, magazines, etc.), and the internet is no exception.  I think people are used to the idea of ads being included in things.  I've been using the internet since 1995, so I remember when the internet was relatively uncluttered an didn't have many ads & things, but something has to provide the revenue to keep things running.
