There's a lot to be said for working for yourself in the early days of your career - when you don't have a family, are renting a small place... the stakes are lower. I freelanced from 2000 to 2004, caught the tail end of the dot-com boom building IT organizations, then was a sysadmin for hire. You learn a lot about yourself when you work for yourself. One bit of advice I took away from that time? "Never tell the client 'No'. Tell them how much 'Yes' costs." --- MultiMail/Win v0.52 þ Synchronet þ .: realitycheckbbs.org :: scientia potentia est :. .
