You do realize that BBSes are just another form of social media, right?

As for wasting time, that's subjective.  I spend a few hours a day on Facebook and I'm enjoying myself.  I also hang out on this BBS quite a bit and a stand-alone forum for the Commander X16.  I don't play the fanboy game.
