yet they are on the internet.

I dont see any issue with requiring a microsoft account.
Furthermore, i dont see a problem with a lot of things microsoft does now, 
like requiring updates.  for many years people wouldn't update and they'd be a 
botnet or have other issues and just point the finger at MS.
