The best weather door out there now is called "AI-WX".  It's available 
from the author's BBS at:  firesidebbs.com:23231 in the "Lonewolf 
Software" file area.

It does use an API that is free to get.  It is *FAR* superior to any 
weather door you've ever used before, I promise.
