I'm old enough to even remember people smoking on airplanes. The rear 1/3 or so of the seating was for smokers, as if there was a magic barrier that kept the smoke from coming forward into the rest of the cabin. Not cool at all, but at that time it was a "normal" thing. Seems very strange to me now. ....
