Not a "rewrite" on github. That would take man years. Not feasbile for one person. Corey Blake bought a PCBoard source code license from CDC shortly before they went under. But it would not build due to missing pieces. I constructed those by hand and got it to build. The source-built PCBOARDM.EXE works on my test BBS. But I'm only interested in source code, not running a BBS. For that you need a TCP FOSSIL like one I wrote for Novell DOS TCP/IP. It's a chore to get Novell DOS TCP/IP configured and working. Who would want to. IDK why, unless you like to tinker with PCBoard source code. The deleted files are obsolete. I'm at PCBV019.ZIP now. I uploaded it to Luis Silva's BBS. That's were it belongs anyway. He was a principal distributor for CDC in Europe. --- þ Synchronet þ Vertrauen þ Home of Synchronet þ [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net .
