IMHO, this government value (or lack thereof) reflects the current values
of a large chunk of the country.  There are too many citizens who believe
that "Candidate X is the best because he/she is from Party Y" and don't pay
any attention to what actually comes out of their mouths.

In some cases, you can ammend that quote to include ", and isn't Candidate
Z!!!" as if that is an actual qualifier.
